One Village Dance Centre is located in the Westcott Business
District, in Syracuse, NY, at 117 Harvard Place.

Mondays
5:30-6:30 pm: ZUMBA (Latin-style
fitness)
Combines Latin and international music in dance routines,
using forms such as: salsa, meringue, reggaeton, belly dancing,
hip hop, and integrating aerobic and fitness interval training.
Zumba is for everyone; no dance experience is needed. A
fun and exciting way to move to great music while dancing
your way to a more tone and sculpted body. Instructor

Traditional African rhythms and
melodies on the djembe drum. *Drums are provided; you are

modern dancing. Learn to have fun with one of the most popular

pm: KAZOON (Afro-modern)
Blends West African and modern movements for a spirited
expression that the dancer at heart or the seasoned dancer
can enjoy. Designed to activate the mind, body and spirit
from the inside out, and to improve balance and flexibility,
Kazoon dance will leave you feeling rejuvenate, refreshed

A sacred space dedicated to learning djembe hand techniques,

A form of exercise, social gathering, therapy and cultural
experience. By relating the dance to exercise, it welcomes

pm: SAMBA
A lively, joyful and rhythmical dance of Brazilian origin
with a musical composition based on a 2/4 beat. Instructor

(Neuromuscular integrative action or movement with purpose)
A body, mind, spirit practice that invites you to move your
body the way it is designed to move and personalize your
movement so that you can condition your body your way. Nia
combines the dance arts, martial arts, yoga, and alignment
techniques to condition and awaken your whole body. Prepare
to experience fitness that is pleasurable and joyful rather
than effortful and painful. Instructor

Weaves salsa and traditional Cuban movement into a dynamic
